Okay this one is a little difficult to explain in English. Dutch right-wing government is not doing much good for the environment and nature lately. As a protest people started striping through all references to nature in street signs. Here, for instance, are the words Boom (meaning: Tree) and Eland (Moose) striped through.
Sometimes, whilst in Belgium, one can see something that will never be seen in Holland (and that’s why I looove Belgium). Take for instance these signs. It’s a promotion for a temporary employment agency. It is situated just around the corner of the Red Light District.
I saw this one from the top of MAS Antwerp
the traffic sign states: you’re on the right track. good to know.
